 The Ai Wei Wei's house project, designed by the artist himself, compromising both his own studio and private dwelling, he took special care of the proportion, scale and the 

            proper usage of local materials, since these, he believes, are the most important elements of architecture

                          It’s interesting to note that while Ai WeiWei is very well known internationally, he is perhaps less so in China where censorship has remained a hot topic, and where Ai’s own blog for the Asian news site Sina, was censored in 2009, unfortunately thats why his home has been demolished ...
